This past Sunday we arrived at Shadow Cliff Park not quite knowing what to expect. Regardless, we were ready for everything except the weather. The poor little kids got their water slide taken away and was left with a pint sized pool that four of them managed to squeeze themselves into. Everyone tried to ignore the scorching, hot sun and made the best out of it by enjoying the food and decorations. The BBQ was planned and carried out by Mhalu Soriano of Infodidesign. Some of her party planning work is displayed below.

Shackelford Family Outing...

Today we had the pleasure of photographing the delightful Shackelford family. We met up with them at the beautiful Japanese Tea Garden in San Jose and took it from there. Sweet little Kyla Rae and her loving mommy and daddy cracked us up the whole time and was such a joy to work with. The weather was perfect, and no wonder, because the tea garden were filled with families out and about enjoying each other's company.

The late Sunday afternoon's soft lighting gave us a lot to work with and we could not have been more greatful. Kuddos to Ray and Karena for picking the venue too! This place will be among our favorite picks. All in all, it was a very enjoyable day.

Simply put in one word "Family"

Recap on My Surprise Birthday Party!!

Well it's finally here!!!  Turning 31... Not much different than 30, but seems so much closer to being OLD!  It started on Friday night, where I was greeted by a super awesome SURPRISE PARTY held at  Little Saigon Restaurant in Concord, CA!!  My girlfriend Kellie has been sneaking around for the last 3 weeks planning this party!!  She managed to gather up all new and old friends and it felt so good that they could be there for me!!  It truly was surprise and I could not imagine anything more for my birthday.  So to all of the friends who took out your time to hang out with me, I am so grateful for our friendship and hope to share many more birthday's with you!  

A super big thank you to my girlfriend Kellie and her master planning!  From creating the dinner menu, inviting all of my friends, making the seating arrangements, and spending the whole weekend with me!!  No one has ever took out that much time and planned for my birthday!  Thank you Kellie for being who you are and you are always appreciated everyday even thou I may not show it!!

Jason's Rock Band Birthday Bash!!

Long time friend Jason Malig had his 31st birthday party this weekend! Since we've been friends for about 20 years now, it was only right to celebrate it by playing the super blockbuster game ROCK BAND!  That game was so freaking addicting that the night soon turned into morning!!  Never the less, Happy Birthday to my friend Jason and I hope to celebrate many more in the future!!

Frances and Mila's day out

We met up with Frances and her daughter Mila early Sunday morning for a precious mother-daughter photo session.  Although the waterfalls weren't on, the beautiful San Ramon location gave us plenty of ideas for a stunning turn out. Adorable little Mila was a bit shy at first, but once she focused her attention on her mom and forgot about the cameras being there, she proved to us once again why we love photographing families in their natural interactions. Frances and Mila's love and affection brought a smile to our faces and being able to capture those memories for them definitely makes this job a plus!

Mila's 2nd Birthday Celebration

Last weekend Mila turned 2 and we were so happy to be part of the celebration.  The event took place at the beautiful Emerald Glen Park in Dublin.  Friends and family all gathered together on this hot day to partake in Mila's big event.  As water balloons flew from individual to individual, water guns being used, footballs being tossed, and the sounds of "Happy Birthdays" commonly heard; we all knew this was a huge event!!!  Happy Birthday once again to Mila and for the rest of the gallery please see here!

Jeremiah Poblete Photo Shoot

As we progress further into photography, we expand into all directions that photography offers. We were asked to help produce a modeling profile for the talented 10 year old, Jeremiah Poblete of Stars Model Management. The day started off in a local park in Dublin then later moved to my house to perform some studio shots. Jeremiah was a great individual to work with and we hope that some of our images help lead him into the career path of a star!!!
